Summer Gallery Intern Job Description

Candidates will assistant in the registrar duties for the gallery, which include cataloguing, documentation, and storage of artwork. Candidates will also be part of daily operational tasks involved in a busy downtown gallery.

Time Commitment:
- 8-16 hours per week during business hours (M-F,9-5)
- Prospects should commit to working 3-4 months.

RNG interns will gain a unique insight into gallery practices and programing through the development of art handling and registrar skills. This internship will serve as a mentorship, working directly with the gallery assistant, director and owner.

To Become a RNG Intern:
Internships occur on a rolling basis closely following the academic calendar. That being said, they’re typically 3 - 4 months. Previous art preparator experience is a plus but not necessary. Candidates should be detail oriented, have good computer skills, be personable (as you will interact with clients), and professional, eager to learn attitude!
