Maija Ponsi-Pettinen

Swedish/Finnish, 1925 - 1991


Born in Finland in 1925, Ponsi-Pettinen was mostly self-taught. In 1948, she moved to Sweden and exhibited in Gävle, Sandviken and Stockholm Her artwork can be found in the collections of the Gävle Museum, the Eskilstuna Art Museum, the National Arts Council and the Raumo Museum in Finland. Ponsi-Pettinen died in 1991.
