Hermine David

Hermine David was born in France in 1886. A member of the École de Paris group of artists, she was the great-granddaughter of revolutionary painter Jacques Louis David and the wife of painter Jules Pascin.

Beginning in 1915, the artist lived in New York for about five years and exhibited there during that time. Hermine David also had prominent gallery representation in London and Paris.
