William B. Chenoweth

William B. Chenoweth was born in Trinidad, Colorado in 1920. He was the son of 22-year Congressman, J. Edgar Chenoweth. During the time his father served in Congress, Chenoweth studied at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. Chenoweth himself served as a Colorado State Representative from 1955-1956 and as a Colorado State Senator from 1961-1964. He owned an advertising agency, Fox and Chenoweth and also continued his work as a fine artist with gallery representation in both Denver and Taos, NM. In 2008 he died in Denver, CO at the age of 87.
